I am very fortunate to have great friends, I get a call from my R&B coach D.Woods asking me to drop in on a session she was having with another good friend of mine Mika Means.  So my cousin Derrick and I slide in on the session where they were recording for a D. Woods mixtape (which I help write a couple of records on).  To my great shock  in the session was  young lady by the name of Carlysia Levert in on the session as well.  You all may know her from the MTV show “My Super Sweet 16″ as Gerald Leverts (RIP) daughter.    So I snatch out the camera late in the session as D.Woods talks about the friendships all the oldschool R&B artist kids have with each other check out the video.

If you were tuned into My tweets you would have seen a posting of a ustream with me and my crew in the editing room.  Turns out we watched the final edit (by Antonio Starr) of the full video  and came up with an Idea of doing a trailer for it.  Well Antonio (the editor) had technical difficulties trying to put one together so he relied on LIFE THE GREAT to get the job done.  Building on the Ideas WE shared during editing I returned home and came up with this

So you all know i shot this emotional video last week heres the cover art for it the video drops on Tuesday the album on Friday get you a copy for $3 .  I enjoyed making this video but it took a lot emotionally out of me by the end I was drained.

I was so excited about you all seeing the look of the Video I had to leak some photos and a video shot on my Blackberry.  I know the quality sucks lol.  I have to wait on the footage off the camera to show you all the preformance shots.  so here’s my teaser.

A picture wonderfully designed but Dorval Registry and myself to me visually explains what I wanted to accomplish with this album.  The Album plays as a movie to the art direction had to do the same.  I really enjoy how the song titles are at the bottom like the credits on a movie poster.  This is a repackage of my original version with 2 new unheard records and a free download link to 31 songs created with the 1980’s in mind.  I guarantee this project will be a collectors item in the future.  It drops NOVEMBER 14th get yours for three dollars!!!!!!!!!

I was soooo confused at why god had made things soooo rough for me on this night. 1st I drove around in circles for 45 mins trying to find the actual event. It was in the corner of Atlanta that gps couldnt find. at the sametime i was Lost, Antonio (m Manager) could not find the key to his car (he was at another club promoting about 35 miles away) the club promoters were trippin about performances but the show went on check it out  OH AND BY THE WAY THE DJ  CUT ME OFF AT THE OUTRO OF MY SET TALK ABOUT PISSED SEE IF YOU CAN NOTICE IT IN THE VIDEO

I was rolling when my manager finally arrived to my show with this video of his son on his I phone.  I waited until his birthday which was yesterday to post this.  Oh and by the way  he wrote his first verse and spit it on my voice mail. I will be putting it on my up and coming project  called “IN SEARCH OF THE PERFECT SONG (FEAT, THE WORLD)

A crazy amount of people have asked me to re-release my 1st album  “The UltraSound”.   I plan on putting a couple of new songs never  released that were for the album, however they didn’t fit into the story of the album but were great records!!!!  Also with  the purchace of The Album  (which is $3) you will receive the first mixtape for the album, thats an extra 31 records(in a informercial voice).    I do plan on releasing an unseen Video from this album Its a crazy surprize.   For you new listeners prepare yourself for the experience.  Thanks to the thousands that call the body of work a “CLASSIC ALBUM” I appreciate it It will be released in the 1st week in November  check out the  “STUPID FRESH” (the single off the Album) video teaser:

This Has been a frustrating time for me artistically and business wise.   Its like this,  I got my projects Im working on The Re-releasing of the UltraSound,  The working on “In Search of the Perfect Song (feat. The World)”  which features all of  my people famous and up and coming.  Honestly my crew is feeling I’m whack and not on the business,  they feel like I’m not doing everything at  100%.  I think that Their right and Watch Me Change!!!!!!  or Shall I SAY GO HARDER !!!!!!!

So here’s the setup:

Last week my son came home with his progress report and he had some less than favorable grades so I restricted him from TV and especially wrestling (he’s a fanatic) until he regains his focus. This past Monday was the first day of the floods so my kids were home all day. At one point I called to check on them and my daughter told me that he was watching TV……Violation!! I told her to have him turn it off and “get into those books”. Well I guess my disciplinary tactics and me having him lay out his own punishment sometimes prompted him to write me a note.

Here’s a visual:
The note was on the banister at the top of the stairs with a belt hanging over the rail. Everything was strategically placed for me to read the note in that very spot.

Here is what he wrote. I like to call this piece “Wupen”:

Punishing him after a 5hr commute home was the last thing on my mind and even if I were planning on “beating” him (I DON’T BEAT MY KIDS BY THE WAY) after reading that he would have earned a free pass anyway.

Aside from the gut busting comedy of the note I think it speaks volumes on how he is maturing and owns up to his mistake and was ready to accept his punishment for the violation. Afterwards we sat and watch T.V for a while….I was very proud of him.

1st of all I am a African (Sierra Leone).  I am allowed to laugh lol.  No really this is the funniest video I’ve seen in a long time.  When i was Younger my cousins and I use to re-sing songs on the radio in a African accent This had me Dying lol  !!!!!!!!!!!!!

it unedited but its all good a fan emailed me a portion of  my preformance from last week.  I never get a chance to watch these.  My mom (being busy) often misses my shows and says why don’t I see any footage , So here’s to you mom lol.

oh and my the way this video is just a teaser I preform for 5000 even if it 5 people in the crowd I love it!!!!!!!! dont miss the next one
